Our Metal Cutting Equipment

Glenn Metalcraft continually improves, adds, and upgrades its equipment to expand offerings to customers. Our goal is to offer customers options for cutting necessary features into all of the pieces we produce for them.

Our custom metal cutting equipment now includes the offerings of laser, plasma, and waterjet.

  • Laser Cutting
Laser cutting slices materials for industrial manufacturing applications. We use laser cutting to cut flat-sheet material, as well as structural and piping materials.
  • Plasma Cutting
Plasma cutting is used to cut thick steel and other metals of different thicknesses. A plasma is formed by an electrical arcthrough and around the blown gas . This resulting plasma is hot enough to cut metal quickly and precisely.
  • Waterjet Cutting
Waterjet cutting is an industrial process capable of cutting a wide variety of materials. It uses an extremely high-pressure jet of water or a mixture of water and an abrasive substance. The term “abrasive jet” refers specifically to using a mix of water and abrasive to cut rigid materials, such as metal or granite. We use “pure waterjet” or “water-only cutting for softer materials like wood or rubber.” This is waterjet cutting without added abrasives. We often use waterjet cutting during the fabrication of machine parts. Waterjet cutting is our preferred method when cutting sensitive materials that wouldn’t react well to the high temperatures generated by laser or plasma. Many industries employ waterjet cutting, including mining and aerospace, for cutting, shaping, and reaming.

Our expert staff takes care of your project throughout our full-service process. We eliminate the need for external sourcing, saving you time and money. Plus, you receive superior parts from our state-of-the-art equipment and knowledgeable team.
